"We are big fans of Derrick Stroup and try to go see him any chance we get. However, this time we were close enough to notice that he wasn't actually singing and was just lip syncing to most, if not all, of the songs. It is sad to see someone as talented as he is have to reduce himself to having to do that. Would much rather have him really sing, even if it means those high notes are not as high. Not a lot of crowd interaction or eye contact. After the concert I did some checking and it seems he has been doing this for quite a while. Too sad, but I guess we are all getting older. In addition, he just didn't seem into the show. His music will live on but that was the last time we will go see him in person.

On a separate note, the venue was beautiful and well suited for a summer concert."
